Unique Nails

This has been my go to nail salon for a few years now. I mainly get pedicures. I never had a bad experience related to my nails, so I continue to go. I will say customer service here isn’t that great as they pick and choose who they offer the refreshments to. If you have them for clients you offer them to all, it’s not a good feeling to see others who come in after you get offered a drink and then you have to ask for one after still not being offered one. Especially when you’re a regular. It’s not the first time it’s happened which is why I’m leaving this review. Just something to consider as a business. Tram is amazing though, she’s the reason I still go tbh.

This has been my go to nail salon for at least 2 years now. Rose is great and I loved how she did my nail. After today I will never return!!! The lady that is handling the scheduling is ALWAYS messing up. I’ve experienced it a few times and saw it happened with others. Today I had something going on so needed to adjust my time. I called and asked could I change and anything after 11:30-12 would be great. The lady told me 11:30. Well I arrive on time started checking in when again the LADY at the front desk was there. As she was checking me in another lady was already waiting for the same 11:30 time. Once checking the schedule my name was there and the other lady waiting was scheduled for Wednesday. Seems from her speaking that she actually called on Wednesday to schedule for today. I was told someone else could take no! Ummm no!!!!! Even tho I was on the schedule and the receptionist is the one who made the mistake I was told I could allow someone else or come back later. Mind you I don’t live in sugar land and always drive there. This have happened a number of times and after today I will be in search of a new nail tech. Customer service is not a top priority!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. They falsify their reviews by coercing people to delete their 1 star ratings so that they can appear to be a reputable establishment when THEY ARE NOT. Long review but I highly recommend reading. I went to this salon the day before my birthday and had a full set of acrylics on my hands and toes. The acrylic on my right pinky toe literally fell off as I was walking to my car from the salon (yes, ACRYLICS fell off)! I had to go back into the salon to get them redone the same day!!! The very next day (my actual birthday) the acrylic on my left toe had fallen off! I was at my birthday dinner in open toe shoes with 2 nails missing!!! Less than 5 days into having these nails, I had 2 pinky nails missing on my toes, and 2 nails that had popped off of my hands. They were literally popping off like they were press ons! SMH. Within ONE week, I had a total of 8 nails that had fallen off of my hands (my thumbs were the only nails that stayed on) and 2 nails that had fallen off of my toes. To make matters worse, my mom, sister-in-law and niece all equally had horrible experiences while we were there. My niece's nails were literally PEELING off as we were walking to the car. She had gotten a shellac set that PEELED OFF before we even left the salon (yes, SHELLAC was PEELING OFF). She ALSO had to go back the SAME DAY to get her hands redone. All of her nails had peeled off in a matter of 3 days. I went back there to complain and instead of the staff acknowledging my understandable shock at how poor the quality was, ROSE, the woman who did a horrendous job on my hands, had the AUDACITY to argue with me in the middle of the salon in front of clients! The way they treated me was absolutely HUMILIATING and EMBARRASSING! I left a review here and reported the transaction with my bank that same day and it wasn't until THEN that their "manager" contacted me to try to "resolve" the issue. They asked me to return to have everything redone; I was told that the service would be entirely complimentary. IT WAS NOT. They CORNERED me and FORCED me on the spot to delete my original review and to contact my bank to cancel the claim AFTER they redid my hands and would NOT allow me to leave their salon until I did so. Then after that, they REFUSED to redo my toes and only applied polish to the nails that fell off despite me originally paying for ACRYLIC. I felt completely intimidated by their staff especially since the entire staff treated me like I was somehow in the wrong when I literally ONLY wanted to receive what I PAID for. They used intimidation and pressure to get me to remove my review and to call my bank SMH!!!! To be clear, I paid $235 to this salon for a full set on my hands and feet, and a set for my mom(hands). They only repaired my hands, DID NOT repair my toes, they ONLY applied polish to the pinky toes as the "repair," despite the set on my toes costing $95 because I paid for acrylic on all of the nails. I got them redone on a Thursday and by Sunday my big toe was literally broken! I made it CLEAR to their manager that I wanted everything redone based on how easily the nails fell off initially, they did not honor that when I went back. This place is a total SCAM. They've falsified their reviews by coercing people into deleting their 1 star ratings so that they appear to be a reputable establishment when they are NOT. Run for the hills! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I would give them ZERO stars if I could!
